Office Policies

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:00 with appointment times varying slightly for each location. Phone calls to our office outside these times and after 3:00 on Fridays are routed to our answering serivce.

To guarantee access to our patients, all physician services are provided by appointment only. If you have to reschedule your appointment, please do so at least twenty-four hours prior. Missed appointments and those rescheduled on the same day may incur a charge of $75.00 for office visit and $125 for physical exam. Some appointments may require blood tests drawn in advance.  Blood is drawn Monday through Friday 9:30 to 11:00 and 1:30 to 4:00. Please call to confirm availability.

If you have an after hours emergency that you feel requires your doctor, the office's answering service will forward your message to the doctor on call.  An additional charge may be added for services provided after hours.  True emergencies should always be addressed by calling 911 or by going directly to a hospital emergency department.



Phone calls are routed through our voice mail system.  Soon after it is received, someone will research your call to provide an appropriate response.  Please leave enough information so that our staff can answer your needs with their return call.  Patient phone calls are answered the same day they are received.

Pharmacy prescriptions will be handled during regular office hours within a 48 hour turnaround period. Mailorder prescription will be handled within 3 to 5 business days. Renewal of an existing prescription may be handled directly by the patient by calling his or her pharmacy.  Any requests received by our office for prescription refills will be called in directly to the chosen pharmacy or sent electronically if the option is available. Patients will only be contacted if a problem is encountered. Those wanting confirmation should check with their pharmacy.  Most medications require your physician to closely monitor its effectiveness. Therefore patients who have not been seen regularly may require an appointment prior to refills.

Delivery of laboratory results, referrals, and all forms will be handled within 3 to 5 business days.


Fees and Payments

We make every effort to keep down the cost of your medical care. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. Its is your responsibility to keep the billing department up to date on your active insurance coverage, your current address and phone number. Without this information the billing department cannot properly process your claims. We cannot guarantee the payment of your claim. For more information regarding our Billing Policies, click here.
